Totally Terrific Time Trials – Lord Peter Dear’s Lockdown Goal Achieved #Sub24800

Well done to everybody who took part in our socially distanced middle-distance time trials today.

We had 18 runners giving some great performances. The atmosphere was brilliant and we even had sunshine.

Peter Dear kicked it off with a storming run to get a PB of 2 seconds and go under 2 minutes for 800. The conventional wisdom is that you never get a PB over a standard distance in a time-trial, but Peter decided to ignore that!

Big thanks to all the pace-makers Marc, Peter, Katrina, Mateusz, Adam and Joe Rogers who between them, did a brilliant job.

We hope to have a repeat event in four weeks time.
