Monday nights 7-8pm. September-February- Main focus on running, middle to long distance, cross country, conditioning fitness, either on the track or out together. February-August- Main focus on a variety of athletic disciplines-running, throwing, jumping, fitness. We try to cover as many individual disciplines as possible and athletes are encouraged to take part in Sportshall and Track competitions. Our Monday night session is aimed at children and young people who want to improve their athletic skills and are prepared to listen, learn and try hard.We always try to make the sessions as fun as possible and tailor them as much as we can to the individual needs of each athlete.We normally split the athletes into two groups related to age and ability age and ability. Athletes are always encouraged to come with a water bottle and a few different layers (especially in WInter and whenever it rains, which is a lot). Hats and gloves are helpful for winter sessions. Light Hi visibility clothing is recommended for when we go off track. Coaches Ian Priest Time and Day Mondays 7-8pm Age Group 8+ (normally 8-16). We recommend that athletes try our Saturday morning group first. |
