| Junior & Senior Session Speed Jumps & Throws Leaders: Jo & Alan Smallwood, John Taylor & James Lediard Age grp: 14+ Session Time: 18:00-19.30 | These are aimed at competitive athletes. Summer sessions: are based on the Track with running sessions up to 800m and all Jumps & Throws events, apart from Pole Vault. Winter sessions: are split between the Track & Gym. Tuesdays cover: Weights specific circuit session and a Gym circuit which encompasses fitness, agility, speed & conditioning together with a medicine ball session for strength & co-ordination. | Junior Session Track & Field Leader: Paul Allen & James Hoult Age grp: 12+ Session Time: 19.00 - 20:00 | This session is for all abilities who wish to compete for the club. During the Winter the focus is to develop endurance through a combination of road sessions and track or grass based effort sessions. The Summer focus is usually based on the track to develop track and field event skills. | Light Hi visibility clothing is essential for when we go off track. |
| Junior Session Middle Distance & Cross Country Lead Coach: Nick Hazelwood Age grp: 15+ Session Time: 19.00 - 20:00 | These sessions are aimed at competing athletes, racing on Track, Road & Cross Country over distances from 800m to 5K. Tuesdays alternate between a Track session and session off site on the Road, while Saturdays (when not racing) are on the Track or incorporate sessions on the grass. Sessions aim to develop Base fitness, Speed Endurance and Speed, working towards athletes PBs. | Light Hi visibility clothing is essential for when we go off track. |
| Senior Session Endurance - Efforts Leader: Sam Morton Age grp: 18+ Session Time: 19.00 - 20:00 | This session is open to all adults and abilities. It is a good starting point when joining the club as it can be used to identify other suitable training groups to attend. Sessions generally consist of a warm-up, 3-8 reps ranging from 400m-800m, and a cool down. Efforts are held in differing locations each week. Winter sessions are on road and summer sessions are off road. Each session location is shared on HACC Central WhatsApp chat. | Light Hi visibility clothing is essential for when we go off track. |
