25 young Halesowen athletes began the 2025-26 cross country season in the opening race of the West Midlands Young Athletes Cross Country League held at Walsall Arboretum.
The WMYACCL season consists of five races covering the U11, U13, U15 and U17 age groups with individual and team honours up for grabs.
In the overall team standings, Halesowen are 17th out of the 24 competing teams on 2,887 points and are just a single point behind Kenilworth Runners.
