International Indoor and Regional X-C Success

Well Done to Josie Oliarnyk on a fabulous 3rd place for Great Britain and Norther Ireland, in the Indoor Long Jump in Bratislava.

X-C Wollaton Park

A brilliant run from U20 Ladies Lily Higgins saw her gain the siver medal and is fast becoming one of the countries leading Juniors. Following her home was Abigail Saker in 13th place.

In the Junior men club captain Peter Dear finished 18th with Kristian Bayley 29th

Other performances: in the U13 girls Kerrianne Huxley 48th, Isobel Knowles 101st.

Tom Harris was 48th in the U13 boys and James Rollinson 52nd in the U15 boys.

In the U17 men Lewis Henry finished 53rd and Matthew Wikinson 66th.

The senior ladies team consisting of master’s athletes, finished a credible 18th of the 34 teams.

In a field of 250 athletes the team was led in by Sam Morton 91st, Kerri James 105th, Sally Spencer 115th, Melanie Hepke 126th, Simone Jones 160th, Caroline Lambert 179th, Anna Cosimetti 213th and Helen Attwood 238th.

The Senior men finished 13th of the 38 teams led home by Mateusz Silwinski 88th, Adam Cross 91st,

Dave Turvey 97th, Dave Lewis 218th, James Hoult 230th, James Parker 260th, Alex Morgan 272nd,

Andrew Carruthers 300th, Andy Nock 350th, Bill Nock 384th, Paul Allen 418th and Jamie Sircom 461st

In a field of 473 athletes.
