Here is our new, exciting challenge for all HACC Young Athletes!
As you can’t venture far from home to burn off any Easter Eggs, your coaches have set you the collective C19 Junior challenge of completing 1111 miles from Lands End to John O Groats as fast as you can!
https://www.landsendjohnogroats.info/route/
You don’t even need to leave the house or garden as every 10 mins of exercise at home including YouTube, stretching, yoga, gymnastics etc will all count as a mile.
Outside of the house, you can choose to record miles or time spent exercising, including walking running, cycling….
To record your distance towards the total, please add a post to the club Facebook page, or if you’re not on Facebook, please email enquiries@halesowen-athleticclub.co.uk for more details.
As an extra incentive, there is a prize draw for those who submit a distance each week for a training top from the new kit range that will be launched post lockdown.
If you want to take a photo or video of your activity, post it here on Facebook or on Twitter @HACCAthletics.
The rules are as follows.
1) You need to wear running or workout kit.
2) Show the Halesowen A&CC badge or wear a club vest or top.
3) Display C19 Junior Challenge on your photo/video
Make it as fun and creative as you like and we look forward to seeing your efforts on this page in the coming weeks. We will also feature the best of the C19 Junior Challenge on the club website!
Please make sure you keep to government guidelines on self distancing – Have fun and stay safe.
Let’s clock up those miles!
