The weekends saw Halesowen A&CC athletes taking on the formidable course at Parliament Fields in London.
Lily Higgins finished a credible 23rd in the Junior Women’s race while Kristian Bayley fished 141st in the Junior Mens’ race. Matthew Wilkinson finished 229th, Dominic Price 314th in the U17 Men.
Lottie Roberts finished 104th a good result in a field of over 450 athletes in the U15 girls. In the U15 boys Sam Mannings finished 149th, and James Rolinson 315th. Tom Harris finished 317th in the U13 Boys.
The Senior Ladies team finished 90th with over 1100 runners competing. The team was led home by Melanie Hepke in 554th, Rebecca Moore 558th, Caroline Lambert 787th, Anna Cosimetti 947th and Helen Attwood 1078th. The Senior Men’s team finished 90th of the 112 teams. Dave Turvey led the team home in 542nd place in a field of nearly 2400 runners. Adam cross finished 800th, Mark Hadley 984th, Dave Lewis 1131st, Phil Scarr 1247th, James Hoult 1309th, Alex Morgan 1466th, Bill Nock 1752nd, James Parker 1850th, Andrew Nock 1935th, Mark Higgins, 2067th and Jamie Sircom 2307th.
Paul Allen went to Singleton Park Swansea and came away with Welsh M70 Cross Country title.
The cross-country season is now at an end and athletes will move onto the Road and Track season, Starting with the Midland 12 Stage Relays on March 17th.
