Last Sunday (10th March) saw eight of our athletes make the short journey to Fradley in Staffordshire for the Fradley 10k race.
There was a welcome return to racing for a number of our athletes and despite the somewhat blustery conditions one of our runners returned with a trophy and everyone finished in the top third of the field of 1,057 runners.

First home for the club was Dan Cleary who finished 17th in 37:34.

Hot on Dan’s heels was Simone Jones, who following her super-fast parkrun at Arrow Valley the previous weekend came back in a blistering time of 42:05 to finish in 71st place overall and as second female!

Matthew Cleary was 92nd in 43:09, Chris Cleary 112th in 43:47 followed by Sarah Thompson in 140th in 45:14 and Nigel Crompton who was 219th in 48:26.

Ellen Ambrose was 282nd in 50:29 and Steph Adams was 320th in 51:54.
