Midland racewalking Championship at Stourport on Severn Cycleway. From Halesowen, only 2 female walkers raced despite both having really heavy colds and being a bit under the weather. Stourport is a fairly undulating course but Julie Bellfield finished 3rd in a better than expected time of 30.11 (best last season was 30.02) and Lynn Bellfield finishing 5th with an excellent time of 32.09. This gave the ladies 2nd team. This was also combined with the Worcestershire Championship meaning gold for Julie and silver for Lynn.
