Lots of fun for Zara and Lucy Cambridge at The Black Country Magic Mile at the Dell. Zara took third girl place in the children’s race in 8:25.
Lucy was 7th in her race (6:35) and took the winning FV45 prize. and commented “Really lovely event, relaxed Racing and a medal and soft drink for kids, medal and beer for me!
It was Zara’s first track race of any distance, we estimated 9:30 for her time when we entered! Really proud of her 😊”
Then they were both back on their parkrun travels on Saturday.
