Summer Success

This summer has been full of many surprising successes. Firstly, one of the biggest achievements this year has been coming 2nd at the U.K. Sports hall final in the all rounder competition. Another accomplishment was winning midland championships at the indoor combined events, whilst coming 5th overall in the national combined events. In the indoor midland championships I came 2nd in shot putt and 1st in triple jump. In the outdoors, I became Worcestershire county champion in the 100m, long jump and shot putt. Also, another success was the outdoor combined events in the ESAA midland schools combined events I came 3rd in my first ever heptathlon. In the midland championships outdoor I won the shot putt title as well as the triple jump title. Moreover, in the English schools championships I came 5th (whilst being at the bottom end of my age group) in a new event that I have only started to do this year, the triple jump. In the mason trophy competition I jumped 11.71m to take the title and the championship best performance.
