On a warm Autumn afternoon at Sutton Park, both Halesowen’s men’s and women’s teams put in top quality performances over the hilly 5.43 kilometre course.
There was an outstanding effort from the women who were the best-placed Midlands club in 24th, leaving the likes of Royal Sutton Coldfield, Tipton, Biournville and Birchfield trailing in their wake.
The B team were 55th.
And the men’s team also had a strong run coming in 45th place.
Here are all the results from both teams, with photos of the final bend from Bryan Dale’s Race Photos.
The numbers in brackets are the position of each athlete following the completion of their leg.
