Halesowen Athletics Club are once again proud to host the Midland 5 and 7 mile Cross Country Championship races.
The event will take place on Saturday 21st November with the race returning to High Harcourt Farm in Romsley.
It is open to all athletes with individual and team medals at stake, with male teams of six and female teams of four counting for honours,
The women’s race over 5 miles starts at 1.00 pm with the men’s race over 7 miles off at 2.00 pm.
The course features a multi-lap layout consisting of a short one mile lap and a longer two mile lap.
It is renowned as one of the toughest courses on the Midlands cross country calendar, incorporating tough hills, sections of round pasture and bog and a twisting downhill woodland section.
And it would be remiss not to mention the infamous stream crossing!
