21 young athletes ran at a cold and icy Pingles Stadium for the fourth race of the West Midlands Young Athlete Cross Country League.
Following on from the recent Storm Goretti, organisers were happy that the race could take place considering many other events being cancelled.
It was a race for warm clothing and running through snow and ice but all our team did themselves proud with thirteen achieving top half finishes.

Ffion Collins is 7th and Lucy Hellingsworth 8th in the individual series standings.
Halesowen placed 13th out of the 23 teams who competed at Nuneaton.
In the overall series standings with just one race remaining, Halesowen lie in 16th.
The final race of the 2025-26 season is Aldersley Stadium in Wolverhampton on Sunday 8th February.
