The second meeting of the season in the West Midlands Young Athletes Cross Country League was a local one, with just a four mile trip to the familiar grounds of Warley Woods.
23 Halesowen runners took part on a tough, hilly course but there were some great performances with 11 athletes securing a top half finish in their races.
Particular highlights were an eighth place finish for Ffion Collins (U17W) and a great debut in the U11B race for Ethan Parkes who placed 21st.

Overall, Halesowen placed 16th out of 23 teams on the day and are also 16th in the overall series standings.
