Entries are now open for the Worcestershire Track & Field Championships, which will be held at Stourport on Sunday 9th April 2026.
Here are more details of the event from Ian Clarke, the Worcestershire County Championship Secretary:
We have the full range of events planned, except Pole Vault & Steeplechase.
We will be using the new age groups and Hurdle/implements weights in all events.
Photo Finish for Track Timing and EDM on Field Events.
This year we have two Quadrathlon age groups, U12 & U10s.
Both will do the Howler & Long jump field events.
U12s will do 75m & 600m, U10s 50m & 400m Track events.
U12s G/B will also be allowed the option of a 70/75m hurdles race.
Also, in our Championship this year we will be hosting a Race Walking Counties event.
As hosts. this will be open to all Race walkers, U14s 2k and U16 to Senior 3k Distance.
Several counties have expressed an interest in using the event for their County Championship Track races.
We hope this will give race walkers a much better competitive race.

Start time for this will be 10.30 am (first event of the day).
